Hello,
So today I logged in 3 of my supers into 1 large POS. Avatar was sitting 0m from the tower (but still a visible distance away), Nyx was 5km from Avatar and tower, Aeon was also 5km from tower.
For 5 mins they all sat in the pos happily not moving at all, all of them completely still at 0ms. Then as I was organizing my drones I notice that both my Avatar and Nyx are going 900Ms in opposite direction of each other straight for the outside of POS shields in just a few seconds.
WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT.
Luckily no hostiles in system, or anywhere in the region. Its happened to me many times on the test server while moving around, but sitting in a pos stationary for 5 mins before the ships decide to play a game of bumper cars????
If I was not watching both my Avatar and Nyx could easily of been hot dropped and there would be nothing I could do because my ships decided it would be a fun to play bumper cars.
Im guessing its a result of the Avatar being 0ms of the central control tower, however the avatar was at 0ms for 5 mins and actually facing away from the tower.
What type of game mechanics are these? Supers shouldn't even be allowed to travel that fast LOL |

I did not just spend 250billion on supers just so they can play bumper cars when I blink |

Seriously. Learn to take some risks and take your super out of the POS once in a while. The simple fact that you have so many supers floating in a POS should be your first clue as to what is wrong.
Could you kindly tell me the location of your supers which are Gate camping, station camping, mining or running anomalies? |

If so:
Ive noticed that Titans that are moving, but intersecting, bump very slowly. I'm wondering if the game treats bumping differently with stationary ships than with ships that are moving. That is:
You log in your Titans. They warp to the POS, and apparently come to rest. But they are not truly at rest, the speed is still a tiny bit above zero. As such, the game used one set of bumping rules. But eventually, they truly come to rest, and a different set of rules cut in, and off they go.
I think CCP uses Chribba's random lottery to generate their physics. |

I would rather my ships magically fly out of the POS shields instead of them randomly exploding lol |

Is it really that hard for CCP whom has multiple entire teams of game developers who (hopefully know how to program a game), to add in some code that prevents a ship from going faster then its maximum velocity no matter how hard it gets hit or by what?
